The Destinations project was a response to the impact of the pandemic on travel, and how we remember and connect with places through photographs. The punch needle compositions, inspired by travel photography, become a visual representation of our memories and experiences. The work transcends generic snapshots, and instead captures the texture and blurriness of memory itself, highlighting our struggle to recall moments.
Adrienna has exhibited pieces from the Destinations series in several group and solo exhibitions across Toronto, Canada. Select pieces have been procured by Earl's Restaurant, and several pieces have been featured in press, including The Globe and Mail and Frankie Magazine.
